{"id":1374,"date":"2011-07-27T20:28:51","date_gmt":"2011-07-28T01:28:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/waronsociety.noblogs.org\/?p=1374"},"modified":"2013-02-03T17:28:07","modified_gmt":"2013-02-03T23:28:07","slug":"switzerland-silvia-billy-and-costa-sentenced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/waronsociety.noblogs.org\/?p=1374","title":{"rendered":"Switzerland: Silvia, Billy and Costa sentenced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>from <del>the press<\/del> (July 21 and 22, 2011), translated by <a href=\"https:\/\/thisisourjob.wordpress.com\/2011\/07\/23\/guerini-ragusa-and-bernasconi-sentenced-in-switzerland\/\">this is our job<\/a>:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>On Friday, July 22, anarchists Costa Ragusa, Billy Bernasconi, and  Silvia Guerini were sentenced at the Federal Criminal Court in  Bellinzona on charges of \u201cconspiracy to commit arson\u201d and \u201cillegal  trafficking of explosives\u201d stemming from a thwarted attack on an IBM  nanotechnology lab in R\u00fcschlikon.<\/p>\n<p>The charge of \u201cillegal transport of explosives\u201d fell apart since  there was no solid evidence to corroborate any smuggling from Italy.  Nevertheless, our comrades were sentenced to longer prison terms than  those requested by the prosecutor.<\/p>\n<p>Ragusa, 34 and a founder of the Italian anarchist group Il Silvestre,  was sentenced to three years and eight months in prison.
