The trial of Aris Sirinidis <\/a>was postponed for Friday because a judge was sick<\/strong><\/p>\n

Attack on 2 banks in the centre of Athens<\/strong><\/p>\n

A little after 12 midday today, there was an attack with hammers, stones etc on two banks, Alpha bank on H.Trikoupi street and Eurobank on Solonos street. The area filled with cops, which even made a quick pass through Exarchia just to be \u201cseen\u201d. They withdrew and the area was calm again.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Freedom to Simos<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the 8th<\/sup> of April early in the afternoon the national bank of greece in Exarchia square, Athens, was smashed as a token of support for Simos Seisidis. Flyers were also flown that wrote \u201cFreedom to Simos Seisidis\u201d and \u201ccops and judges you will find us in front of you\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Simos is accused and is being tried for the robbery in the national bank of greece on solonos street in January 2006.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Minister visits Agrinio, Greece<\/strong><\/h2>\n

On Wednesday 6th<\/sup> of April, from the morning in the city of Agrinio there was an intense police mobility. The reason was the visit of minister of justice H. Kastanidis, who visited the city to announces the foundation of the court of appeals.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the event, that was organized by the municipality of Agrinio and the lawyer\u2019s association, there was an intervention by roughly 40 anarchists \u2013 antiauthoritarians and solidarians, with a banner that wrote: JUSTICE IS CLASS ORIENTATED, FREEDOM TO THE POLITICAL PRISONERS AND TO ALL HOSTAGES OF THE STATE. The intervention lasted roughly 1 hour and chants were heard such as:<\/strong><\/p>\n

We should mention here that opposite the comrades was paraded an important cop force of OPKE(special forces), DIAS(motorcycle cops) and undercovers. While at the reception of the minister they were all the ass-licking green guards and remaining lakees of Agrinio and the outskirts. The intervention was completed with the coordinated retreat of the comrades.<\/strong><\/p>\n
