{"id":7250,"date":"2013-02-13T17:06:21","date_gmt":"2013-02-13T23:06:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/waronsociety.noblogs.org\/?p=7250"},"modified":"2013-02-19T02:19:18","modified_gmt":"2013-02-19T08:19:18","slug":"mexico-a-researcher-of-the-institute-of-biotechnology-receives-a-letter-bomb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/waronsociety.noblogs.org\/?p=7250","title":{"rendered":"Mexico: A researcher of the Institute of Biotechnology receives a letter bomb"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" style=\"border: 0pt none\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/438424cd093f86f0c7e0-2cd4f1b3b970cf6c05d6a60490c230b4.r88.cf2.rackcdn.com\/sos4.jpg\" width=\"288\" height=\"217\" border=\"0\" \/>from <del>the press<\/del>, transl waronsociety:<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right\">February 11, 2013<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Cuernavaca, Morelos: A researcher of the Institute of Biotechnology (IBT) pertaining to the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in the state of Morelos, received a letter that contained an explosive device.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The device arrived to its destination inside of a letter-sized manila envelope and was received at about 9 AM by the nanotechnology researcher Sergio Andr\u00e9s \u00c1guila.<\/p>\n<p>When Andr\u00e9s \u00c1guila opened the envelope, he noticed that inside the envelope was black powder, wires and batteries, so he decided to leave it and immediately advise the security guards.<\/p>\n<p>After this, agents of the IBT Civil Protection cordoned off the area where the envelope was found as the State advised the Civil Protection authorities and started the evacuation of people who work in four research institutes who were in the area.
