Even if the  pigs\u2019 bullets halted my progress, even if the fabric of my coat got  caught in the barbed wire and they arrested me, even if I took off my  coat but didn\u2019t manage to get through all the strands of barbed wire.  And the barbed wire would split and rust, but the strands would remain.
