Chile: Communique for the street confrontation 40 years after the Coup D’etat in Santiago (photos)

from vivalaanarquia, transl waronsociety:

This 1st of August, in a coordinated action and in an attempt to distance ourselves from the fetishization of that date in September, we decided to take to the streets at three points, already known for their historical street fighting: UTEM, Pedagógico, y Juan Gómez Millas. We were again the authors of incendiary attack against the barracks of OS9 of the dogs of the rich, and the subsequent confrontations entailed by the 3 coordinated actions, this time we took the streets in August, but in remembrance of the 40 years of the most cruel and hard invasion of the prevailing system during which thousands of compañeros were assassinated and imprisoned. Just like the state does today with its democracy stained by the blood of many social fighters.

We also remember compañero Jaime Mendoza Collio, a mapuche compañero assassinated by the same dogs we attacked, also in our minds and in each molotov, the compañero Manuel Gutiérrez, assassinated in the most critical moments of the student mobilization.

Within a month of 40 years of the coup d’etat we set their routine on fire to remember the compañeros in prison Nicolás Sandoval, Io Giuria Muñoz, and the compañero Hans Niemeyer, recently sentenced. An embrace to all of them.

On the arrival of 40 years of the coup d’etat, we repeat a thousand times: we do not forgive and we do not forget 40 years of repression, the civil war is not over!
