from materialanarquista, transl waronsociety:
Victor was imprisoned under the anti-terrorist law, accused of placing an explosive device on February 9 of this year. On that occasion a well deserved package was given to the cops of Las Vizcachas, but some despicable citizens had hallucinations of those responsible … it is logical that what they may have seen closely was for them a demonstration of subordination to the State.
Victor has spent more than 130 days in prison without proof nor evidence…
We are not interested in whether or not Victor is “guilty,” that is a denomination of the bourgeois language. If the compa is in the pen it is for the reason that the State finds convenient: intimidation, imagining subversive potential to be possible, etc, etc. We will not control ourselves because of what the bourgeoisie says of him. This class always needs its scapegoats, and whether or not responsible for what they do WE ARE AT WAR and therefore we defend those who are with us. Whether or not they are responsible for this or that action.
The Letter
My name is Victor Hugo Montoya Encina, I am charged with placing an explosive device in the Las Vizcachas Precinct on February 9, 2013. After 4 months of being in Preventive Imprisonment, I can affirm and can be living proof of how the Chilean State has once again managed to create a new Frame-up supported in this witch hunt called the “Anti-terrorist Law,” based on discrimination and hardly serious processes; today I am the target of accusations construed by protected witnesses, who have made incongruous testimonies and an infinite amount of ridiculous evidence like CD’s with varied music, scarves, and documentaries downloaded from the Internet.
On the other hand, it is worth mentioning that in addition to these three invisible witnesses whose testimonies do not match, there is another fundamental pillar in this whole process and its discriminatory functioning, and that is nothing other than my style of life, which they intend to make fit with what they need, being anything other than an individual model, in this case, the sole fact of possessing a social and class consciousness, of rejecting the consumption, use and abuse of human or nonhuman animals for the benefit of a few and finally of having a serious posture before reality and declaring myself contrary to all legal and illegal drugs, prioritizing my lucidity and integrity as a person responsible for his actions, are the supposed and the only arguments that the police, intelligence services and prosecutors have used to link me to the case known as the “bombs case.”
Since February 9th I have been in the Puente Alto Prison, it is here where I have spent my time, I have left things in the middle of the street, but the most terrible thing is that due to confinement, the various tensions and inadmissable exercises of power by those who exercise the “order” and “well-being” of us, the inmates, those who many just like me are here unjustly, victims of extensive and bureaucratic “legal” processes, depressive states, panic attacks and various health problems become part of the daily life and “normality” of this place.
Even so, after seeing, feeling and experiencing the previously mentioned, I continue being ME! the label “terrorist,” the category of “Danger to Society,” like so many others have been and are persecuted only for thinking differently… We pay the price of the accusations, which with the passing of time and the work of people commited to the truth will without a doubt crumble, they will fall apart as has happened time and time again, weak frame-ups, with good budgets, paid for by the taxes of the working class, common and ordinary people, like any one of us, which makes me think that tomorrow it could be you, the next victim of the true terrorists who live amongst us, who persecute and capture us.
Finally, I thank my family, friends, lawyers and each of the people who have been with me even though we don’t know each other, the whole national Hardcore scene, the Vegan, Vegetarian and Straight Edge community of Chile and neighboring countries who have been a constant support in this process generously and empathetically, helping me and giving me even more strength.
With that, I and every one of the political prisoners deprived of freedom demonstrate that the State and its Frame-ups will not be able to stop the truth.
Puente Alto Prison, June 11, 2013, 123 days into being imprisoned in Tower 4, Level 1.
